ELIZABETH MELO - Co-president

Elizabeth Melo

CO-PRESIDENT


Elizabeth F. Melo, LICSW is a defense social worker at a Child and Family Law practice.  Her prior work experience was with adolescents, children and families with emotional and behavioral issues.  Her own three children are currently 6th and 8th graders at MSMS and your youngest is a 4th grade student at Cotting School in Lexington  Elizabeth has a strong interest special education and working with and on behalf of people with disabilities.  Among other things she is involved as a volunteer with Family Ties, a program of the Federation of Children with Special Needs. She is a graduate of  and mentor to parents/families participating in Mass Families Organizing for Change (MFOFC) Family Leadership Training, and MA DPH Family leadership Institute.  She is EdLaw  and  WrightsLaw trained,  and  regularly attends special education/  behavioral health trainings and enjoys broadening her support network.
